USAID: One Year Since Everything Changed, The Future of U.S. Foreign Aid

Join the GW Humanitarian Action Initiative for the next event in our Future of Aid series: Building a Grassroots Movement for Global Development. This interactive session will bring attendees together to explore evolving approaches to U.S. foreign aid and global development.

The discussion will feature Asher Moss, Executive Director of the Alliance for American Leadership; Alicia Contreras-Donello, former Deputy Country Representative (USAID/Libya); Thomas Wuchte, Founder of the Center for Multilateral Leadership and Board Member at the Alliance for American Leadership; Deborah Cook Kaliel, former Public Health Advisor at USAID; and Arjun Tusker, former Global Lead, NPI, USAID.

Together, the panel will highlight grassroots advocacy, policy engagement, coalition-building, and emerging opportunities in international development, including pathways for public policy internships.
