To my supporters, friends, campaign staff, and all those who came out to vote for me, I want to say an enormous thank you. I have been blessed with a wonderful community, and while I was not chosen to represent District 14 at this time, this will not be the end of my role in Maryland public life.

I am grateful to have this time to process, and spend time with my family, who have been so amazingly supportive during this challenging, exhausting, exhilarating time.

I look forward to continuing to engage the wider Democratic community as we bring a new generation of public service leaders into office.
